Waste items are catalogued by main waste sectors, shown below, and then by the material or chemical composition of each item. You can find out which items are fully or partially recyclable, or are not at all. We highlight those items that are particularly bad for recycling in case you prefer not to purchase them. We encourage you to check if your local council and recyclable waste collecters accept all materials as some may refuse certain plastics.
